About Jefferson Family & Relationship Institute
Jefferson Family & Relationship Institute is a professional, for-profit organization dedicated to relationship healing, professional education, and community transformation through evidence-based clinical services, educational initiatives, and structured intervention programs. Our mission is to strengthen individuals, restore relationships, and transform families through therapeutic support, prevention, accountability, and community engagement.
Our Institute offers a comprehensive range of services, including individual, couples, family, and parenting support for those seeking healing, growth, and healthier relationship dynamics. We work with individuals preparing for relationships, couples at various stages—from dating to marriage—and families navigating life transitions, co-parenting, communication challenges, and emotional wellness.
In addition to our therapeutic services, Jefferson Institute provides specialized domestic violence prevention programming through our flagship initiatives: the Good Men Project and Good Women Project. We also provide professional development opportunities for helping professionals through continuing education trainings, therapist tools, study courses, conferences, and educational resources focused on healthy relationships, trauma-informed care, domestic violence prevention, and family restoration.
Commitment & Collaboration
Our goal is to support individuals, couples, and families in breaking cycles of violence, disconnection, unhealthy relationship patterns, and generational trauma while fostering emotional wellness, accountability, healing, and healthier communication. We are committed to working alongside families, professionals, courts, and community systems to provide ethical, evidence-based services that promote growth, restoration, safety, and long-term relationship wellness.
Through both our general therapeutic services and specialized programs, Jefferson Family & Relationship Institute strives to help individuals, couples, and families build safer, stronger, and more connected futures. In addition to direct services, we are dedicated to advancing professional education and training to better equip helping professionals with the knowledge, tools, and interventions needed to support healthy relationships, family healing, and community transformation.
